HOW TO APPLY

Nordic Genre Boost 2017

Final Return of the Nordic Genre Boost
Following the first two successful rounds of the Nordic Genre Boost programme, Nordisk Film & TV Fund in November 2016 launched a 3rd and final round of its development initiative that puts a specific focus on the continuously expanding Nordic and international field of genre films. Read more about Nordic Genre Boost here.

Nordic Genre Boost combines a development grant of NOK 200,000 for every selected project as well as access to two intensive residential workshops with tutoring in script development, sales, post-production and packaging. The first workshop was held in collaboration with Night Visions International Festival and took place in Helsinki (5-9 April, 2017), the second workshop is held during New Nordic Films’ Co-Production and Finance Market in Haugesund (22-25 August, 2017).

A total of 61 Nordic projects applied for the third and last round of Nordic Genre Boost development support. See the seven selected projects below. Scroll down to Previous Selected Projects for info on the 2015 and 2016 editions.
