Niels Pagh Andersen, editor of more than 250 films including the Oscar-nominated The Act of Killing and Pathfinder, is the guest of honour at Nordic Talents 2015, celebrating this year its 15th anniversary from September 02-04, 2015.

Danish born Pagh Andersen who is also part-time teacher at the Norwegian Film School will reflect on his career that spans over 35 years. He will discuss his permanent quest for truth and authenticity and how storytelling has changed with digital technology.

The Masterclass with Pagh Andersen is one of the highlights of Nordic Talents 2015, with the pitching of 15 projects from Nordic film graduates, vying for the NOK250,000 Nordic Pitch Prize and NOK50,000 Special Mention Prize.

Industry personalities who will sit on this year’s jury include filmmaker Rúnar Rúnarsson, Berlinale Festival Programmer Nikolai Nikitin, Danish Film Institute former Film Commissioner Steen Bille, Leipzig Documentary Film Festival Director Leena Pasanen, and Swedish Film Institute-Moving Sweden coordinator Helen Ahlsson.

20 Nordic producers will also be invited to pitch themselves and their company at the National Film School of Denmark in Copenhagen, co-host of the event with Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
