Ingolf Gabold, (pictured) one of Scandinavia's leading and most admired TV executives will be joining Eyeworks Fine & Mellow in April as Senior Producer, once he ?retires' from his current job as DR Head of Drama, a position he has held for the last 12 years.

Gabold will join Thomas Gammeltoft and Esben Halding at the newly established Eyeworks Fine & Mellow, the Danish arm of the global independent production and distribution group Eyeworks. The veteran Danish TV executive will develop new TV drama projects for the international market in conjunction with Stockholm-based Eyeworks Scandinavia.

"It makes me incredibly proud that Ingolf agreed to our offer of becoming Senior Producer and Developer with us," said Thomas Gammeltoft, Creative director at Eyeworks Fine & Mellow. "I have, just as everyone else, a tremendous respect for Ingolf as a person and for what he has achieved in his years at DR. With his expertise, we're able to enter the premier league of Nordic Drama production houses."

Eyeworks is currently developing the Nordic dramedy series Flying High and is co-producing Per Fly's Swedish/Danish biopic Monica Zetterlund. Projects set to start filming in 2013 include Henrik Ruben Genz's feature The Violin Builder, based on a novel by Henrik Strube, and Jannik Johansen's Tyson.

The company is also involved in Genz's US film Good People expected to start filming this summer for Millennium Films and Tobey Maguire's Material Pictures.
