2014 is off to a great start for the Nordic region as the five territories are all bringing films to Robert Redford’s 30th Sundance Film Festival (January 16-26, 2014), the first major film event of the year. The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed out the Window and Disappeared: Felix Herngren’s screen adaptation of Jonas Jonasson’s best-selling novel is going to take the Nordic region by storm this Christmas. The quirky comedy stars Robert Gustafsson as the adventurous centenarian Allan Karlsson. Walt Disney will release the Nice Drama production on Christmas day in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and on December 27 in Finland.
