What happens to your application?
Registration When applying to the Nordisk Film & TV Fond you must apply using our digital application system. Please note that some specific material is still required to be submitted by ordinary mail.
The language must be Scandinavian or English.
As soon as your application is received it will be registered and a confirmation of your application will be sent to you.
Please note if your application is not completed correctly the digital application system will not accept it.
Applications are evaluated on a continuous basis and the handling time is normally 4 - 6 weeks.
Evaluation The Fund will make a comprehensive evaluation of the project, on the basis of artistic, content-related, production- and distribution-related criteria, as well as those obligations that result from the latest Statutes and the Agreement in force between the Fund and the Partners of the Fund.
The Fund poses no conditions regarding a common Nordic theme, joint Nordic co-production or inter-Nordic combination of staff or actors.
The Fund will in particular prioritise projects that have children and young people as their target groups.
The project is evaluated by the CEO, the project managers of respectively fiction and documentary and by other freelance consultants and readers.
Decision The CEO of the Fund is responsible to the Board of Directors for decisions made regarding the granting or the refusal of support.
A letter will be sent to the applicant stating whether or not support is granted.
If support is granted the amount and possible time limit is stated in the letter.
An attached sheet will list what documents are needed for drawing up the contract.
