International Cinema Distribution Support

OSLO, TORONTO - September 12, 2008. The guidelines and application form for the HIGH FIVE TORONTO - INTERNATIONAL CINEMA DISTRIBUTION SUPPORT programme were announced today at the Toronto International Film Festival. Thirteen films are elegible to receive up to €20,000 each (subject to applications) to support their theatrical release in countries outside the Nordic region.

The International Cinema Distribution Support is a one-off scheme with a minimum total budget of  €200,000, provided as cash grant. Distributors outside the Nordic region who have acquired rights from any of the 13 Nordic films screening as part of the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival can apply before the December 1, 2009 deadline.
