The Finnish Film Affair mini-market unspooling September 22-24, parallel to the Helsinki International Film Festival (HIFF) is going to introduce its first Work-In-Progress Award for the most promising project. The winning project will receive an international marketing package.

The industry event attracting each year around 300 international participants will focus on the US market for its 4th edition. "The motivation for the US theme is based on the recent success of films like Big Game and the growing interest to produce English language films intended primarily for the international markets. FFA wants to serve this emerging need by facilitating consultation sessions and a panel discussion on how the Finnish projects should approach the US market,” said HIFF managing director Sara Norberg.
Accreditations will open early August. For further information, check: www.finnishfilmaffair.fi
