The networking event for promising Nordic talents and stepping stone in their career will take place September 4-5, 2019 in Copenhagen.


Nordisk Film & TV Fond is inviting Nordic BA and MA students in film or television, recently graduated from selected film schools in the Nordics and elsewhere, to submit their applications.  Around fifteen selected projects will compete for the NOK 250,000 Nordic Talents Pitch Prize and NOK 50,000 Special Mention Prize. To apply, graduation students must submit a pitch for a feature length film or TV/web series in development stage. Fiction, documentary and animation projects are eligible.

Prior to the pitching to an audience of 200+ industry people, candidates will attend a pitching training session with Valeria Richter and Paul Tyler.

A jury of five distinguished industry members will be announced soon as well as details of the programme.

Acclaimed Nordic directors who won Nordic Talents awards include May el Toukhy (Queen of Hearts), Hlynur Pálmason (Winter Brothers,) Gustav Möller (The Guilty) and Maria Bäck (I Remember When I Die).

Nordic Talents is co-organised by Nordisk Film & TV Fond and the National Film School of Denmark which hosts the event.
