Jakob Cedergren and Alexandra Rapaport are back for a longer crime investigation in the new Sandhamn Murders. The crime show based on Viveca Sten’s best-selling novels is produced by Filmlance International in collaboration with TV4, ZDF Enterprises and ZDF.

Unlike the previous five seasons that had a 3x60’ format, the continuation consists of four episodes of 90 minutes, to be filmed in two stages in the Stockholm archipelago, between August-October 2016, then May-June 2017.

Rapaport reprises her role as banking lawyer and mother of two Nora Linde, summer guest on the island of Sandhamn who helps inspector Thomas Andreasson investigate a series of crimes with his colleague Mia Holmgren (Sandra Andreis). Other actors include Anki Lidén and Stefan Gödicke. Mattias Ohlsson who directed the previous seasons as well as Arne Dahl and Spring Tide series is back behind the camera.

The series is one of TV4’s most successful crime dramas. The full five seasons are airing on French Arte started tonight at 20.50, until September 15. Shine International handles world distribution.
