The Swedish TV drama created by the experienced Cilla Jackert (The Restaurant, Shed no Tears) is set to start filming on June 11, 2019.

    Lamb is a story of a childless couple of sheep farmers, Maria and Ingvar, who in mysterious circumstances find a new-born that is half human, half sheep. Longing for a child of their own they decide to keep the lamb-child and raise it as their own. This unexpected change in their life initially brings them much joy. 

    Top crew members include VFX supervisor Peter Hjorth (Border, Melancholia) and production designer Snorri Freyr Hilmarsson (Woman at War). The Icelandic/Swedish/Polish film is co-produced by Piodor Gustafsson and Erik Rydell of Sweden’s Black Spark Film & TV, and Klaudia Śmieja-Rostworowska of Madants/NEM Corp. Filming is set to start May 26.

    Story: Lucia, the daughter of Father Christmas, wants to help her best friend when he is unfairly accused of stealing a magic crystal. But she soon realises that she is facing something dangerous that is threatening her family and Christmas itself.

    The Danish family film is a follow up to All I Want for Christmas which sold more than 152,000 tickets in Denmark and 50,000 in Norway. The second instalment is co-financed by TV2 Denmark, supported by the Danish Film Institute, Vestdansk Filmpulje, Viborg Kommune. The Danish release is set for November 12, 2019.

    Story: Away from the gaze of their parents, four children’s innocent playing evolves into something else. Magical and strange things start happening. The film is a journey into the secret world of children.

    Vogt’s second feature after Blind, is co-produced by Zentropa Sweden, Finland’s Bufo and Denmark’s Snowglobe, with support from the Norwegian Film Institute, the Finnish Film Foundation, Eurimages among others.

    Story: In Genesis, the development of modern warfare and AI are connecting three seemingly disparate locations and lives; a scientist in Sweden, a private contractor in USA and a Taliban turned Sufi in Pakistan.

    Producer Krotkiewski said: “The film focuses on the development of future technologies, especially within the field of AI and robotics, and how we as human beings relate to questions about responsibility and ethics. We want to explore the tension between creation and destruction, how we develop new technologies that could potentially lead to our own extinction.”

    The film is co-produced by Denmark’s Made in Copenhagen, SVT, in association with DR, NRK, Film i Väst, support from Swedish Film Institute, Danish Film Institute, Konstnärsnämnden. The premiere is set for spring 2020.
  • A-ha-The Movie

    Story: In 1985 the three boys from Oslo in the group A-ha became pop idols and the first Norwegian group to dominate the top of the charts around the world. 30 years later the band is back with a new album and touring the world. Did their dream come true?

    Filmed over four years, the film is the ultimate story of the Norwegian pop band consisting of Paul Waaktaar, Morten Harket and Magne Furuholmen who rose to stardom in the 1980s and continue to fill arenas around the world. The film will be released in November 2020.
