Mette M. Bølstad and Stephen Uhlander will share their writing secrets and tips to the 200+ Nordic professionals and emerging talents attending Copenhagen’s event (September 6-7).

The Norwegian writing duo picked up last February in Göteborg the first ever Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize for the script of NRK’s political thriller Nobel.

Bølstad’s writing credits also include the films Happy Happy, King of Devil’s Island, the TV dramas The Half Brother and The Heavy Water War. Her upcoming works include NRK’s high-end TV drama State of Happiness about the Norwegian oil boom, and the feature film Sonja about figure skater and Hollywood actress Sonja Henie. Both are currently in production.

Uhlander who runs the London-based company DS Fiction, has co-written the script for Marius Host’s much anticipated drama Congo starring Aksel Hennie and Tobias Santelmann as the Norwegians Joshua French and Tjostov Moland who were sentenced to death in Eastern Congo after the death of their driver in 2009.

The Masterclass held at 15.30 on September 7 will be moderated by Isabelle Pechou of The Drama Agency.
