Nordisk Film & TV Fond is inviting Nordic film and TV professionals to a virtual discussion with key representatives from the EU MEDIA Programme.

Save the date: March 15, 2021, from 10.30 to 11.30 am CET.

Audiovisual Collaboration 2021 is co-organised by Nordisk Film & TV Fond and the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, under its Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers.

The second session of the Nordic bridge building project will be a digital dialogue between the Nordic industry and EU Media Programme representatives.

The Media Action Plan, the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the new Creative Europe programme and other current themes will be looked into and discussed. including:

  • What concrete actions will help the film and media sector survive the current crises?
  • How will access to financing be changed and European companies empowered?
  • What about keeping IP rights in Europe?

Nordic producers and other professionals will pose questions both in advance and during the live discussion to EU representatives Lucia Recalde, Head of Unit of the Audiovisual Industry & Media Support Programmes, Emmanuel Joly, Senior Expert and Diego Agundez, Project Officer. The panel discussion will be moderated by Thomas Gammeltoft, Creative Director, True Content Entertainment, Denmark.
