Nordic Talents is a must mingling place for film and TV professionals who can discover the next Ruben Östlund or Thomas Vinterberg, and for graduating film students who can meet their Nordic peers and get an entry ticket into the industry.

Fifteen Nordic graduates from film schools in the Nordic region and elsewhere will present their graduation films and vie for the NOK 250,000 Nordic Talents Pitch Prize and NOK 50,000 Special Mention Prize.

This year’s jury comprises filmmakers Juho Kuosmanen (The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki), Maria Bäck (I Remember When I Die), NRK Head of Drama Ivar Køhn, Julie Bergeron, Head of Industry Programmes, Marché du Film-Festival de Cannes and Danish producer Lina Flint (Nordisk Film Spring).

This year’s other top event is the NORDIC PRODUCERS’ PITCH to be monitored by the legendary Zentropa co-founder and producer Peter Aalbæk Jensen.

Around 20 established Nordic producers will be invited to present themselves and their company to the 200+ attendees.

Nordic film producers who wish to participate can contact Project Manager Ann-Sophie W. Birkenes (ann-sophie@nordiskfilmogtvfond.com).  Deadline to apply is JUNE 29.

Nordic Talents is co-organized by Nordisk Film & TV Fond and the National Film School of Denmark.

Former Nordic Talents winners include Rúnar Rúnarsson (Volcano), Erik Richter Strand (Valkyrien), Michael Noer (Northwest), Lea Glob (Venus) and Karzan Kader (Bekas).
